Goodbye 2019! – Coastal Staircases

As we are coming close to the year’s end, we reflect on the year that has passed and set goals for the new year to come.

What a year it’s been! Coastal Staircases is getting busier and busier with each year. We welcome our new builders to our list of satisfied customers and look forward to working with you again in the new year.

New developments in Geelong and Torquay have been keeping us very busy this year, with more scheduled for 2020 already. Tallying up to 180 staircases, mostly consisting of our CD Structural Ply budget staircases for covering and some hardwood staircases too.

We have noticed that steel staircases including spirals and steel central stringers are being requested more this year. One of our customers requested a custom spiral so we strayed from our standard spiral design to help a customer achieve a different look for their project. Although we won’t be adding this to our list of standard designs we did enjoy making it and we think it looks fantastic!

We were also excited to get new cars and signage to make travel more comfortable for our staff and making us more noticeable to our potential customers on the road. It has worked a treat already, gaining a new private customer who noticed our vans at a site, asking us to quote a project for him. We have also ordered new uniforms which you will see our staff rocking in 2020.

In 2020 you will see us continue to install staircases for the new developments in Geelong and Torquay. We are also looking to add more qualified stair manufacturers and installers to our team as we continue to grow. With more staff we will be able to keep our leadtimes shorter and our customers happy.
